Introduced alongside the M1943 Uniform ensemble, these trousers first saw widespread use in the latter half of 1944. The M43 uniform was the primary US uniform from late WW2 until just before the war in Vietnam.
This pair of trousers replaced the M41 and was very popular with the US troops. Team up with the M43 jacket for your US impression.
